YOUR HOLIDAY GETAWAY IN STYLE

L-Ghabex Farmhouse is a rustic style villa, a hidden gem, concealed just passed the entrance of an ally. However, the rustic building stands before one of the most picturesque views of the renown Ta' Pinu shrine, lying within green countryside of the farming hamlet of Ghammar.

Excellent farmhouse which made for an excellent holiday!

Really lovely farmhouse in a quiet setting with amazing view. I am fussy about cleanliness and it was really clean and tidy. The outdoor space and pool was brilliant with plenty of room for 8. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for 8 too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend L-Ghabex as a fantastic holiday rental.

Keeps getting better

We have been regular customers at l-Ghabex for some years now. We were completely blown away at our last visit by the upgrade which took place over the winter. The overflow pool with the Ta' Pinu church set as a backdrop is simply stunning. All internal amenities have been upgraded with modern walk-in showers stealing the show. Soft fluffy towels were provided. All rooms are air-conditioned against reasonable payment via a coin meter. But most of all the place retains the silence for which we return year after year. As we have become accustomed over the years, the owners' hospitality is second to none, going out of their way to ensure our stay is as plain sailing as can be. I can only highly recommend to anyone needing a period of rest surrounded by luxury and silence.
One of a kind

Maybe I should not be writing a raving review. It's like letting the world know of a well kept secret. But I think I owe it to the owner for the unbeatable hospitality shown to us during our repeat visits to L-Ghabex. L-Ghabex is situated in an idyllic location. The view from the pool area is of the unmissable Ta' Pinu Church. If you happen to wake up very early in the morning, the view from the bedroom of sunrise over Ta' Pinu with the church surrounded by mist will stay in your mind for ever. L-Ghabex is equipped with all you can possibly need. Gozo is very small, so whatever you need is never far away. Yet L-Ghabex is in a secluded alley with the only noise being that of the occasional cricket and the peaceful church bells. Parking is not an issue. Truly a home away from home.
